Nintendo's conference today revealed a few new facts about the upcoming 3DS console. While the Wii may have a Virtual Console for the big console classics, 3DS will have a place to buy classic Game Boy And Game Boy Colour titles.
Already they've shown off Super Mario Land and Legend Of Zelda: Link's Awakening as being some of the available games, and while there has been some speculation of Game Boy Advance games appearing as well, there has not been any official word on it.
The Game Boy had a lot of crazy obscure titles available for it, so it also has a big chance of finding some pretty classic unknown titles -- like Bomb Jack or Gargoyle?s Quest, to finally make their way back.
Oddly I'm a bit miffed by the announcement -- The 3DS's resolution is higher than that of the NES, Genesis and Super Nintendo, and is clearly powerful enough to emulate those games, why not do them too?
