Months after the game released in Japan, Yoot Tower is now available for iPads in the States. For those unfamiliar with this Windows/Mac title originally published by Sega in 1998, it's the sequel to the Maxis-released building construction game SimTower.
The Yoot, of course, comes from game designer Yutaka "Yoot" Saito, famous for odd titles like the Seaman series and Odama. He's also helped bring the Tower franchise to Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS, and DSiWare.
In Yoot Tower, players take on the role of a building manager, laying out the design of your structure while trying to keep the stress level of its inhabitants down by balancing accessibility, security, and amenities.
You can buy Yoot Tower on your iPad now for $7.99.
